For Non-Medical Candidates:- (i) Master’s degree in the concerned specialty (ii) A doctorate degree from a recognized university (iii) Fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution For Super Speciality Discipline:- (i) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (ii) A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent. (iii) M.Ch. for surgical super specialties and D.M. for Medical super specialties (2 years or 3 years or 5 years and 6 years recognized course) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto (iv) Twelve years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.Ch./D.M. Or Eleven years of teaching and/or research experience for the candidates possessing 3 years or post-MBBS 6 years recognized degree
Additional Professor Entry Level Pay Matrix 13-A2+(Basic 1,48,200 – 2,11,400/-) and all usual allowance	08	For Medical Candidates:- (i) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (ii) A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject (iii) Ten years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. For Non-Medical Candidates:- (i) Master’s degree in the concerned specialty. (ii) A doctorate degree from a recognized university. (iii) Ten years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Associate Professor Entry Level Pay Matrix 13-A1+(Basic 1,38,300 – 2,09,200/-) and all usual allowance	20	For Medical Candidates:- (i) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (ii) A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent. (iii) Six years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S .or equivalent. For Non-Medical Candidates:- (i) Master’s degree in the concerned specialty. (ii) A doctorate degree from a recognized university (iii) Six years of teaching and/or research experience discipline/ subject concerned after obtaining the doctorate degree.
Assistant Professor Entry Level Pay Matrix 12 (Basic 1,01,500 – 1,67,400/-) and all usual allowance	13	For Medical Candidates:- (i) A medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian medical council Act of 1956 (ii) A post-graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or equivalent. (iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S .or equivalent. For Non-Medical Candidates:- (i) Master’s degree in the concerned specialty. (ii) -A doctorate degree from a recognized university. (iii) Three years of teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the doctorate degree.

Age Limit:- Not exceeding 58 years for Professor/Additional Professor and 50 years for Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor as on closing date. Upper age relaxation permissible for various categories are given below:-

SC/ ST/ Government Servant/ Ex-Service Men	05 Years
OBC	03 Years
Persons with Benchmark Disability	10 Years

Application Fee:- General (UR)/ OBC /EWS Candidates have to pay Rs.2,000/- and SC/ ST/ Women have to pay Rs.1,000/- . Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Candidates are exempted from application fees.
