Professor Level-13	08	(i) Experience of teaching for a minimum period of ten years after completion of Post Graduation, which shall include three years experience as a Reader or Associate Professor and four years experience as an Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College and three years as Senior Resident or Registrar or Lecturer or Demonstrator or Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned speciality in a recognized Medical College. (ii) Four Research Publications (Published or accepted) to their credit, including two publications as first author or corresponding author as Reader or Associate Professor in PubMed or Excerpta Medica or Embased Medica or Index Medicus Journals
Associate Professor Level-12	16	(i) Experience of teaching for a minimum period of seven years after completion of Post Graduation, which shall include four years of experience as Assistant Professor in the concerned speciality in a recognized Post Graduate Medical College and three years as Senior Resident or Registrar or Lecturer or Demonstrator or Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned speciality in a recognized Medical College. (ii) Two Research Publications (published or accepted) to their credit, including two publications as first author or corresponding author as Assistant Professor in PubMed or Excerpta Medica or Embased Medica or Index Medicus Journals
Assistant Professor Level-11	42	(i) Post Graduation and an experience of teaching for a minimum period of three years as Senior Resident or Registrar or Lecturer or Demonstrator or Tutor or equivalent or higher teaching faculty posts in the concerned speciality in a recognized Medical College. (ii) The candidates who have done super-speciality (DM/ M.Ch) in the concerned speciality shall be directly eligible for the post of Assistant Professor. The Candidate who has done DNB, which fulfils the equivalence criteria of the National Medical Commission for MD/ MS/ DM/ M.Ch shall be considered as meeting the post-graduation qualification.
Lady Medical Officer	01	MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission of India.
Lecturer (Clinical Psychology)	01	(i) M.A. (Psychology) with Ph.D in a relevant subject. (ii) Work experience of five years minimum in the relevant field.
Lecturer (Statistics)	01	(i) M.Sc (Statistics) from a recognized University. (ii) 04 years experience in recognized Medical College/ Govt. Hospital

Upper Age limit:-Age calculated as of 01st January 2022. The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age in the case of the Assistant Professor, not more than 45 years in the case of the Associate Professor and not more than 50 years in the case of the Professor. For others posts, the age limit is 37 years.

Notes:-

The University has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage.
Candidate must have passed Punjabi or its equivalent up to Matric level.
A separate application/proforma may be used for each post.
Relaxation in upper age limit as per Punjab Govt. Rules.
