Goa Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released the notification of the recruitment of Assistant Professors and Other Posts. Eligible candidates can apply before 28-06-2024.

Assistant Professor Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Rs.6600/- GP	15	(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). (ii) Postgraduate degree or equivalent qualification in the specialty concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India) recognized medical college/institution. (iii) At least three years experience in the concerned specialty as a lecturer or in an equivalent teaching post in a Medical College/ Teaching Institution after the requisite postgraduate degree. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Senior Psychiatrist Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Rs.6600/- GP	01	(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree in the specialty concerned. (iii) 3 years of work in a responsible position connected with their specialty after post-graduation degree. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Associate Professor in Architecture Rs.37,400 – 67,000/- plus Rs.9000/- GP	02	(i) Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Architecture with First Class or equivalent either in Bachelors or Masters Degree. (ii) Ph.D or equivalent in appropriate discipline. (iii) Minimum of 5 years experience in Teaching/Research Industry. Note: In the case of Architecture, Professional Practice of 5 years as certified by the Council of Architecture shall also be considered valid. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Professor in Computer Science Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Rs.6600/- GP	01	(i) Good Academic record with at least 55%* of marks or equivalent grade at Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National Eligibility Test (NET)/ State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor: Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in compliance with the “University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Assistant Professor in Fine Art (Applied Art) Rs.15,600 – 39,100/- plus Rs.6600/- GP	01	(i) Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in any one of the two Degrees and a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani
Assistant Agriculture Officer Rs.9300 – 34,800/- plus Rs.4200/- GP	01	(i) Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a University recognized by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Planning Officer Rs.9300 – 34,800/- plus Rs.4600/- GP	01	(i) Master’s Degree in Economics from a recognized University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani
