Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has released the notification for the recruitment of Civilian (Group-C) Posts in the Coast Guard Region (East), Chennai. Eligible candidates can apply before 20-02-2022.

(iii) Should have at least two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles. (iv) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).

(ii) Should be successfully completed apprenticeship from a recognized/ reputed workshop in the relevant trade under apprentice act 1961 or under any other recognized apprentice scheme. OR Should have a complete training course in the relevant trade from any ITI recognized for this purpose and have 1-year trade experience OR 4 years experience in the trade for which no training is available in the ITI or other recognized institutions. (iii) Should qualify for a trade entrance examination.

Selection Procedure:- Written Test and Skill/ Physical Test

Place of Posting:- The appointment carries with it the liability to serve in any part of India.

Notes:-

No TA will be paid for the written test.
Age relaxation will be given as per govt rules.
The application should be submitted by Ordinary Post only.
Candidates to bring original documents on the date of written examination.
Candidates have to make their own lodging transportation and arrangements for tests.
