Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has released the notification for the recruitment of Senior Residents and Junior/ Senior Demonstrators in different specialities in PGIMER, Chandigarh for a maximum period of up to 03 years. Eligible candidates can apply online from 18-04-2022 to 07-05-2022.

Eligibility Criteria:- Candidates who wish to apply for Senior Residents and Junior/ Senior Demonstrators Posts can check the post-wise qualification from the table given below:-

Senior Resident	(i) A Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (person possessing qualifications included in the Part-II of the third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act). (ii) Must be registered with the Central/ State Medical Council. (iii) A Postgraduate degree i.e. MD/ MS in the speciality concerned or it’s equivalent.
Senior Demonstrator	Paediatrics (Non-medical), Translational Regenerative Medicine and Virology:- (a) M.Sc. in the subject concerned (b) Ph.D. in the subject concerned/allied subject.
Junior Demonstrator	Environmental Health, Nutrition, Epidemiology and Public Health Lab Science:- MA/ M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Nutrition/ Applied Nutrition/ Epidemology/ Biostatistics/ Public Health Lab Science or MPH.
Junior/ Senior Demonstrator	(i) Experimental Medicine & Biotechnology:- Jr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. in the respective field with one year experience in the particular department. Sr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. with Ph.D. in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as such by the University Grants Commission. (ii) Nuclear Medicine:- Jr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/ Medicine from a recognized University. Sr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. in Chemistry /Pharmaceutical Sciences/Nuclear Medicine from a recognized University with Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree. (iii) Pharmacology:- Jr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. in the respective field with one year experience in the particular department. Sr. Demonstrator:- M.Sc. with Ph.D. in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent Ph.D. degree.
Jr/ r Demonstrator (Medical & Non-Medical)	Biochemistry:- Senior Demonstrator (Medical):- (a) A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualification included in Part-II of third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of Section 13 of the Act). (b) The candidate must be registered with the State/ Central Medical Council. (c) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD (Biochemistry) of an Indian University or qualifications recognized equivalent thereto. Junior Demonstrator (Medical):- (a) A medical qualification included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (MBBS) with one year experience in the particular department. (b) Candidate must be registered with the State/ Central Medical Council. Senior Demonstrator (Non-Medical):- (a) M.Sc. in the respective field. (b) Ph.D. degree in the subject concerned of an Indian University or its equivalent. Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized as seen by the University Grants Commission. Junior Demonstrator (Non-Medical):- M.Sc. in the respective field with one year of experience in the particular department.

Age limit:- Upto 45 years.

Pay Scale:-
(i) Senior Resident:- Level-11 in Pay Matrix with a minimum of Rs.67,700/- + NPA
(ii) Sr. Demonstrator (Medical):- Level-11 in Pay Matrix with a minimum of Rs.67,700/- + NPA
(iii) Sr. Demonstrator (Non-Medical):- Level-10 in Pay Matrix with a minimum of Rs.56,100/-
(iv) Jr. Demonstrator (Medical):- Level-06 in Pay Matrix with a minimum of Rs.35,400/- + NPA
(v) Jr. Demonstrator (Non-Medical):- Level-06 in Pay Matrix with a minimum of Rs.35,400/-
