Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of the Combined Medical Service Examination, 2022 for the recruitment of Medical Officers. Eligible candidates can apply before 26-04-2022 (6:00 P.M).

UPSC CMS Exam Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for UPSC CMS Exam must check the number of vacancies and eligibility criteria (Nationality, Age Limit, and Educational Qualification):-
A. Nationality
The candidate who is going to apply for the CMS Exam 2022 must have citizenship of India issued by the government of India. The following candidates can also apply for the exam –

| 2. | a subject of Bhutan, or |
| 3. | a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or |
| 4. | a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Srilanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. |
B. Age Limit
A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2022, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1990. However, for Medical Officers Grade in General Duty Medical Officers Subcadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit must not exceed 35 years. The upper age relaxation will be given as per rules.
C. Educational Qualification
For admission to the examination, a candidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination. Candidates must be physically and medically fit according to the physical/ medical standards.
Application Fee:- Candidates are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200 either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card or by using Internet Banking of SBI.
