Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification of the recruitment of Regional Directors and Other Posts. Eligible candidates can apply before 13-04-2023 (23:59 hrs).

Regional Director Level 12 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC	01	(i) M.Sc. in Microbiology from a recognized University or Institute; or M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute; OR M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agricultural Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Possessing ten years of experience in the field of research and development of biofertilizers and other aspects of organic farming with experience in quality control of biofertilizers and organic fertilizers including two years of administrative experience.
Assistant Commissioner Level 11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC	01	(i) Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agriculture Botany or; Master’s Degree in Botany or Forestry or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Possessing five years experience in the field of soil and water conservation or soil health management or rainfed or integrated farming and soil survey or problem soil reclamation and project formulation including agro-forestry projects in Central or State Government Department or Union Territory Administration or recognized research institution or Agricultural University or Public Sector undertaking or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organization.
Assistant Ore Dressing Officer Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC	22	(i) Masters’s Degree in Ore Dressing or Mineral Processing or Geology or Physics Chemistry from a recognized University or Institute OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Mineral Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Three years experience in conducting mineral beneficiation or mineral characterization for beneficiation of various ores and minerals from a recognized laboratory or beneficiation plant.
Assistant Mineral Economist (Intelligence) Level 10 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC	04	(i) Masters’s Degree in Applied Geology or Geology or Economics or Bachelors’ Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institute. (ii) Three years experience in the field of mineral economics, namely conducting demand supply studies, a market survey of minerals, mineral inventory, mineral legislation, world mineral intelligence, investigation of the economic aspect of mineral resources and production and consumption or utilization of minerals, analysis, and dissemination of information.
Assistant Mining Engineer Level 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC	34	(i) Bachelor of Engineering or Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. (ii) Two years experience in core Mining activity in:- (a) a Supervisory position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines which includes the period as a graduate or management or Junior Trainee Engineer, or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals in Level 6 in the pay matrix (Rs 35400-112400) or above.
Youth Officer Level 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC	07	(i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University; and (ii) Two years experience in organizing programs relating to youth work or youth welfare including National Cadet Corps or National Service Scheme or National Service Volunteers Scheme or sports or cultural and educational activities including camping; OR (i) Degree of a recognized University; and (ii) Four years experience in organizing programs relating to youth work or youth welfare including National Cadet Corps or National Service Scheme or National Service Volunteers Scheme or sports or cultural and educational activities including camping.

Age Limit:- Age limit for the above-mentioned posts is given below in detail:-

Regional Director	55 Years
Assistant Commissioner	40 Years
Assistant Ore Dressing Officer, Assistant Mineral Economist	35 Years
Assistant Mining Engineer	30 Years
Youth Officer	30 Years

Application Fee:- Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs.25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of the SBI or by using a visa/ master credit/ debit card. No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Female candidates of any community.
